Job Description:

Role Overview

The senior accountant will manage key accounting and financial operations across multiple entities. This hands-on role covers month-end and year-end close, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, payment operations, budget tracking, audit support, and maintaining accurate books under US GAAP and IFRS.

The role will also partner with business teams to explain financial performance, monitor spending, investigate variances, and improve financial processes. The ideal candidate combines solid accounting fundamentals with ownership, commercial awareness, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Financial Close
- Own key components of monthly and year-end close across multiple entities.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain accurate general ledgers in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
- Complete balance-sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support intercompany accounting, settlements,



and multi-entity consolidations.
- Improve the accuracy, documentation, and timeliness of the close process.
Financial Operations
- Manage and review accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, billing, and collections.
- Maintain appropriate payment approvals and internal controls.
- Monitor cash balances and support treasury and cash-management activities.
- Ensure financial transactions are complete, accurate, and properly supported.
Budgeting and Business Partnering
- Track actual spending against budgets and highlight material variances.
- Help budget owners understand committed spend, remaining budgets, and financial performance.
- Investigate unexpected costs and identify the underlying business drivers.
- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting with accurate financial data.
- Partner with FP&A; and functional teams to align actual result
