Job Title: IT Support Associate (AV/VC Operations)
Role Objective
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT
Infrastructure professional to manage Audio-Visual (AV) and Video Conferencing
(VC) operations across Amazon's India sites. You will be responsible for the
health of our collaborative spaces, hardware lifecycle management, and ensuring
seamless asset movement within STPI/SEZ guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
· AV/VC Maintenance: Conduct daily functionality checks
of AV/VC equipment in meeting rooms; troubleshoot and resolve
hardware/connectivity issues promptly to ensure zero downtime.
· Hardware Deployment: Lead the installation and
replacement of malfunctioning displays, screens, cabling, and specialized AV
peripherals.
· Asset Movement & Logistics: Coordinate the
physical movement of IT hardware (packing/unpacking/tracking) across floors or
buildings. Ensure strict adherence to building protocols, including the use of
designated service lifts.
· Inventory & Reconciliation: Perform bi-weekly
audits of AV/VC equipment in rooms and storerooms. Generate comprehensive site
reports and ensure all hardware is correctly labeled with site-specific codes.
· Compliance & Documentation: Manage end-to-end
documentation for asset transfers, including gate passes, invoices, and
STPI/SEZ compliance paperwork.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with VC
platforms (Zoom, Chime, Teams) and AV hardware (Crestron, Cisco, Polycom, or
similar).
· Logistics Awareness: Understanding of STPI/SEZ movement
protocols and asset tracking workflows is highly preferred.
· Physical Capability: Ability to handle hardware
deployment tasks, including mounting screens and managing cable infrastructure.
· Communication: Solid reporting skills; ability to
collaborate with site managers and lead engineers.
