About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced Embedded Linux BSP Engineer to drive end-to-end BSP development and hardware enablement on ARM Cortex-A based SoCs. You will work across bootloader, Linux kernel, device drivers, camera/multimedia subsystems, hardware acceleration, and embedded Linux build systems to develop stable, scalable, and production-ready platforms.
End-to-end board bring-up and BSP development on custom ARM-based hardware, including U-Boot customization, Linux kernel porting, Device Tree development, peripheral enablement, and BSP maintenance using Yocto / Buildroot.
● Linux kernel driver development and integration for common peripherals such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, GPIO, Ethernet, and high-speed interfaces including PCIe and MIPI CSI/DSI .
● System-level debugging, profiling, and performance optimization across the b ootloader, kernel, drivers, multimedia stack, and userspace applications .
● Debugging hardware/software integration issues using kernel logs, sysfs/debugfs, V4L2/media tools, GDB, tracing and profiling tools.
● Collaboration with hardware teams for schematic review, datasheet/reference-manual analysis, register-level debugging, interface validation, and board bring-up.
● Development and maintenance of production-ready Embedded Linux platforms , including hardware validation, system configuration, security hardening, and support for multiple product variants.
1–5 years of hands-on experience in Embedded Linux BSP, board bring-up, kernel, or device-driver development.
● Strong proficiency in C/C++ with a positive understanding of Linux kernel architecture, driver models, kernel subsystems, and kernel/userspace interfaces.
● Proven experience building and maintaining Yocto / Buildroot-based BSPs, including custom layers, recipes, kernel configuration, Device Tree modifications, package integration, and custom Linux image generation.
