Key Responsibilities:
- Generate qualified business opportunities through Upwork.
- Identify suitable projects and prepare customized, winning proposals.
- Build strong relationships with international clients and convert prospects into long-term customers.
- Conduct requirement analysis and coordinate with technical teams to prepare estimates and solutions.
- Negotiate project scope, pricing, timelines, and contracts with clients.
- Lead client discussions, discovery calls, and project handovers.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Track proposal performance, conversion rates, and revenue metrics.
- Mentor and guide junior Upwork specialists to improve proposal quality and conversion.
- Develop bidding strategies for different service categories.
- Coordinate with delivery, project management,



and account management teams for seamless client onboarding.
- Stay updated with Upwork policies, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Ensure CRM and sales reports are updated accurately.

Requirements:
- 3-7 years of proven experience in Upwork business development for an IT services company.
- Strong portfolio of successfully closed international projects.
- Excellent understanding of software development services including:
- Web Development
- Mobile App Development
- AI/ML Solutions
- Cloud Solutions
- UI/UX Design
- Salesforce
- QA & Testing
- DevOps
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Robust negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Experience handling clients from the US, UK, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
- Ability to prepare customized proposals based on client requirements.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
