Role:
Vehicle EMC & EMI CAE Simulation & Evaluation
Responsibilities:
- Prepare CAE models using HYPERMESH/ANSA - Mesh discretization, Assembly, Constraints & Loads - for Automotive Sub-systems & Vehicles
- System & Full vehicle simulation for EMC / EMI performance using EMCoS Studio and EMCoS SimDAT softwares.
- Interpretation of results, comprehend failure modes and provide directions for design countermeasures (Hardware / Software) by performing parameter studies on CAE model.
- Report preparation and communication with stakeholders - design, testing - for implementation of countermeasures.
Interact with Testing teams for analyzing failures, correlation of CAE results with physical testing results and make improvements in CAE methodology.
Technical / Functional
:
- Strong fundamentals of Electromagnetic theory, EMC/EMI principle, Signal & Power Integrity (SI/PI)
- Valuable knowledge of working (Hardware & Software) of Automotive Sensors, Controllers, Electronics & Electrical circuits.
- Experience in electromagnetic field simulation in automotive domain at subsystem & vehicle level, using analysis software - EMCoS Studio and EMCoS SimDAT; Proficiency in data analysis using Matlab / Simulink.
- Experience in conducting and evaluating tests in accordance with ISO 11451 series, ISO 11452 series, ISO 7637 series, ISO 10605, CISPR 12, CISPR 25, and CISPR 36.
- Experience in evaluation using RF measurement equipment such as network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
- Knowledge of wireless communication equipment (antenna fundamentals, transmission line fundamentals) and experience in design and/or measurement and evaluation.
iNARTE Engineer certification is preferred. Knowledge of Scripting (Python, VB) will be desired.
