The Academic Quality Assurance Officer (AQAO) shall be responsible for continuously monitoring and evaluating the quality of teaching, classroom management, student engagement, academic discipline, and implementation of school policies across all YS Group campuses through the CCTV monitoring system and other academic review mechanisms.
The primary objective of this role is to enhance instructional quality by identifying strengths, highlighting areas requiring improvement, and providing constructive recommendations to school leadership. The role is developmental rather than punitive and aims to promote excellence in teaching and learning throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Classroom Observation & Academic Monitoring
- Observe live and recorded classroom sessions across all campuses using CCTV.
- Evaluate teaching methodologies, lesson delivery, student participation, classroom engagement, and learning outcomes.
- Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with the lesson plans and academic calendar.
- Monitor effective utilization of classroom time.
Reports shall be submitted daily to:
- Director
- President
- Concerned Principal
- Vice Principal (where applicable)
3. Teacher Performance Evaluation
Evaluate teachers on parameters such as:
- Subject knowledge
- Lesson planning
- Classroom control
- Student engagement
- Communication skills
- Board work
- Use of teaching aids
- Assessment techniques
- Time management
- Student discipline
