Position Overview

The designer will work closely with the founders, production team, pattern makers, and vendors to create unique and commercially successful products under the Moonstruck brand.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Creative Development
- Create original fashion concepts and clothing collections aligned with the Moonstruck brand identity.
- Design customized apparel for men, women, and unisex categories.
- Develop seasonal and trend-based collections.
- Create mood boards, color palettes, fashion illustrations, and design concepts.
- Research global fashion trends, consumer behavior, and emerging styles.

Technical Design
- Prepare detailed tech packs for production.
- Develop garment specifications including measurements, trims, stitching details, and construction guidelines.
- Create sketches, CAD drawings, and digital fashion illustrations.
- Work with pattern makers and sampling teams to ensure design accuracy.

Fabric & Material Selection
- Source and recommend fabrics, trims, accessories, and embellishments.
- Evaluate fabric quality, comfort, durability,



and suitability for designs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding material requirements.

Product Development
- Oversee prototype and sample development.
- Conduct fitting sessions and make design adjustments.
- Ensure products meet quality and aesthetic standards before production.

Brand Development
- Maintain consistency in Moonstruck's visual identity.
- Contribute ideas for branding, packaging, and collection storytelling.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on campaign concepts and product launches.

Production Coordination
- Communicate with manufacturers and vendors.
- Review production samples and approve final designs.
- Ensure production feasibility while maintaining design quality.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fashion design.
