Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement of construction materials, machinery, equipment, and consumables.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Conduct rate analysis, vendor comparisons, and commercial negotiations to achieve cost savings.
- Prepare purchase orders, work orders, comparative statements, and procurement reports.
- Coordinate with project, accounts, and store departments for smooth procurement and delivery processes.
- Ensure timely sourcing and dispatch of materials to project sites.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Verify material quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, invoices, and vendor documentation.
- Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and alternate sourcing opportunities.




- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and government tender requirements.
- Handle emergency procurement requirements for ongoing projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Mechanical, Civil, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor sourcing, and procurement procedures.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP software, and procurement documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project requirements.
- Robust analytical and cost-management skills.
- Experience in government infrastructure projects and tender-based procurement.
- Existing vendor network in construction and industrial supply markets.
- Good understanding of logistics and inventory coordination.
- Leadership capability
