Production Engineer (Sidel Machine Silvassa):
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production activities on Sidel PET blowing, filling, and packaging lines, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
- Monitor machine performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maximize uptime and efficiency of Sidel equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on Sidel machines to minimize breakdowns and ensure optimal operational performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues related to Sidel machinery, collaborating with maintenance teams as needed.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance production processes, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Train and mentor production operators and technicians on the proper operation,



basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of Sidel machines.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP), and company policies.
- Analyze production data, generate performance reports, and propose data-driven solutions for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Manage spare parts inventory for Sidel machines, ensuring availability of critical components to prevent production delays.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to achieve operational excellence.
- Participate in the installation, commissioning, and qualification of recent Sidel equipment or upgrades.
