About the Role

The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all aspects of the manufacturing and production operations. This role ensures that production targets are achieved in a safe, cost-effective, and timely manner while maintaining high quality standards. The Production Manager will lead production teams, coordinate with cross-functional departments such as procurement, quality, maintenance, logistics, and R&D;, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires robust leadership, strategic thinking, hands-on technical knowledge, and the ability to manage large teams and complex manufacturing processes

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control
- Develop, implement, and monitor detailed production plans aligned with business objectives and customer demand.
- Ensure production schedules are met by effectively managing manpower, machines, materials, and methods.
- Monitor daily, weekly,



and monthly production targets and take corrective actions to meet commitments.
- Ensure smooth workflow across production lines to minimize bottlenecks, delays, and downtime.
- Resolve production issues, breakdowns, and delays promptly to maintain uninterrupted operations.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management
- Lead, train, mentor, and supervise production engineers, supervisors, operators, and shop-floor manpower.
- Plan and manage manpower deployment, attendance, shift schedules, and overtime.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs.
- Ensure effective labor handling and workforce engagement.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
