Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Manage the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory returns as applicable.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support management decisions.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and strengthen internal financial controls.
- Assist in preparing budgets, financial plans, and management reports.
- Support ERP/accounting software implementation and process improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
