Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor steam boilers, water treatment systems, and related utility equipment.
- Ensure continuous steam supply for frozen food processing operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of boilers, pumps, valves, pipelines, and pressure vessels.
- Monitor boiler parameters such as pressure, temperature, fuel consumption, and water levels.
- Perform boiler start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures as per SOPs.
- Maintain boiler logs, operational records, and utility consumption reports.
- Carry out preventive maintenance activities and coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdown repairs.
- Ensure compliance with Boiler Act regulations, factory safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor water treatment chemicals and maintain water quality standards.
- Identify and report equipment abnormalities to minimize downtime.
- Support energy conservation and utility optimization initiatives.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the boiler and utility areas.

Required Qualifications




- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Boiler Operation, or related field.
- Valid Boiler Attendant/Boiler Operator Certificate as per Maharashtra state regulations.
- 2-3 years of experience operating boilers in a frozen food, food processing, FMCG, dairy, or similar manufacturing workplace.
- Knowledge of steam generation systems, water treatment, pumps, compressors, and utility equipment.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and statutory compliance requirements.
