DESCRIPTION:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience, with 5+ years in technical leadership roles
- Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- Technical certifications like SAFe, Scrum, or ISTQB a plus
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies including Scrum and SAFe frameworks




- Experience leading distributed teams of 10-30 software professionals
- Experience delivering complex software systems using modern technology stacks (.NET, Java, Python, Cloud platforms)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor, coach and develop engineering talent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across teams
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks
- Experience building effective teams and promoting engineering excellence
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with technical leadership
- Strong project and resource management capabilities
- Travel required up to 10-25%
- Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus
- Experience in scientific/analytical instrumentation or regulated environments preferred
