Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all hostel activities and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Ensure safety, security, and well-being of students residing in the hostel
- Maintain discipline and adherence to hostel rules and school policies
- Act as a mentor and guide for students, addressing personal and behavioral concerns
- Monitor attendance, leave records, and student movement within the hostel premises
- Coordinate with school administration, parents, and staff regarding student welfare
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, dining areas, and common facilities
- Ensure proper hygiene, cleanliness, and maintenance of hostel infrastructure
- Handle emergencies, conflicts, and disciplinary issues effectively
- Organize recreational and engagement activities for students
Key Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Hostel Warden in a CBSE school
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to handle students with empathy and discipline
- Good communication skills (English & Hindi preferred)
- Physically fit and mentally resilient to manage hostel responsibilities
- Willingness to stay on campus (if required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline
- Background in education or student management is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency handling
