Job Overview:
- Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
- Serve as advisor or coach to current or lower level analysts
- Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Qualifications:
- Java Developer with 6-8 years of experience.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Strong in Core Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
- Nice to have functional programming & streaming programming knowledge.
- Proficient in Spring.
Experience in caching frameworks will be a plus.
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
- Skill for writing reusable Java libraries.
- Good Knowledge of concurrency patterns & multithreading in Java.
- Familiarity with concepts of Domain Design, JDBC, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with databases and SQL Development. NoSQL experience would be a plus.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Basic Unix OS and scripting knowledge.
- Familiarity with cloud and container technologies will be a plus.
- Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot and agentic AI tools with a human-in-loop approach.
- Working knowledge of industry practice and standards.
- Working knowledge of program languages.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
