Position Overview

Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Desktop Engineer to join our Corporate IT team. This role independently designs, deploys, and manages end-user computing environments across Windows and macOS platforms. The Desktop Engineer owns day-to-day desktop operations, drives security and compliance adherence, and contributes to process improvements and automation.



This role operates with mínimal supervision, serves as a technical resource for the team, and mentors Associate-level engineers
- What You’ll Do

Desktop & Device Management
- Independently design, configure, and support Windows and macOS end-user computing environments with mínimal direction.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot macOS devices using Kandji or JAMF Pro; contribute to policy and configuration improvements.
- Manage and optimize Windows client environments using Microsoft Intune, including compliance policies and app deployments.
- Own OS provisioning, patch management, and software packaging and deployment cycles within established frameworks.
- Participate in hardware refresh planning and contribute to asset lifecycle tracking.
- Support onboarding workflows, including device setup, account provisioning coordination, and recent hire imaging.
