Job Summary

The Medical Superintendent will be responsible for the overall medical administration and clinical operations of Sewa Hospital. The role involves ensuring high standards of patient care, supervising medical staff, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing hospital efficiency.

Key Responsibilities1. Clinical & Medical Administration
- Oversee all clinical services and ensure quality patient care across departments
- Monitor diagnosis, treatment protocols, and clinical outcomes
- Ensure adherence to medical ethics and hospital standards

2. Staff Supervision & Leadership
- Supervise doctors, nursing staff, and paramedical teams
- Coordinate duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training programs

3. Hospital Operations Management
- Ensure smooth day-to-day hospital functioning




- Coordinate between departments for productive patient management
- Manage emergency services and critical care operations

4. Compliance & Legal Requirements
- Ensure compliance with local health authorities, NABH standards, and statutory regulations
- Maintain proper documentation, medical records, and reporting systems
- Handle medico-legal cases in coordination with legal authorities

5. Quality Assurance & Patient Safety
- Implement quality control protocols and infection control practices
- Monitor patient satisfaction and address grievances
- Lead audits and continuous improvement initiatives

6. Coordination & Communication
- Act as a liaison between hospital management and medical staff
- Coordinate with government bodies, vendors, and external stakeholders
