The Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the management team with analytical financial reporting. This role requires a qualified capable of managing the full accounting cycle with mínimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Ledger Management
- Maintain and oversee the General Ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with Standard Accounting Practices (GAAP/IFRS).
- Conduct monthly and year-end closing processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
- Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
2. Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Prepare and file periodic statutory returns (GST, TDS, Corporate Tax, or local equivalents).
- Ensure adherence to all local financial regulations and internal corporate governance policies.
- Assist in the facilitation of annual statutory audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR)
- Supervise the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely payments and optimized cash flow.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and implement effective collection strategies to minimize credit risk.
- Verify and process employee expense claims and payroll disbursements.
4. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly management reports, including Variance Analysis (Actual vs. Budget).
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports as requested by senior management.
