Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately as per doctor’s orders.
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
- Maintain proper records of all medications, narcotics, and controlled substances.
- Ensure storage of drugs as per recommended conditions (temperature, expiry, etc.).
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, dosage, and side effects.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to avoid shortages.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in audits and maintain documentation for inspections.
- Handle billing related to pharmacy transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.





Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) / Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Mandatory valid registration certificate from State Pharmacy Council.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in hospital/retail pharmacy preferred.

Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and drug interactions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (pharmacy software handling).
- Ability to work in shifts if required.
