Position:Purchase Field Officer

Location:Chennai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience:Minimum 1-3 Years in Purchase / Field Procurement / Vendor Coordination

Key Responsibilities
- Visit vendors and suppliers for material follow-up and procurement activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely dispatch and delivery of materials.
- Verify material quality and quantity at supplier locations when required.
- Collect quotations, samples, and technical specifications from vendors.
- Develop new vendors and maintain healthy supplier relationships.
- Track pending Purchase Orders and provide regular updates to the purchase team.
- Handle local purchases and urgent/emergency material procurement.




- Coordinate transportation and logistics-related activities for smooth material movement.
- Maintain proper records of field visits, quotations, and vendor communications.
- Submit daily field activity reports to the Purchase Manager.

- Are comfortable with field work and vendor visits across the city.
- Can handle multiple follow-ups and work under deadlines.
- Have basic knowledge of procurement and logistics processes.
- Are detail-oriented and capable of maintaining proper documentation.
- Have a valid driving license and are willing to travel locally when required.

Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline.
- Good communication skills in Tamil and English.
- Prior experience in purchase, procurement, logistics, or vendor management is preferred.

Compensation

Annual CTC:₹2.4
