A construction storekeeper manages site inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials (cement, steel, tools) while maintaining strict documentation and site safety. Key duties involve tracking stock levels, coordinating with engineers for requirements, and ensuring proper storage to prevent theft or damage, with roles often requiring 1-5 years of experience in construction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Material Management: Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of incoming materials against invoices.
- Storage & Inventory: Store materials properly to prevent damage, ensuring easy access and maintaining detailed records of stock levels.
- Documentation: Maintain inventory records, including logbooks, entry/exit registers, and bin cards.
- Issuance: Issue materials to contractors and workers upon authorized requisitions.
- Coordination:



Coordinate with project engineers and purchasing departments to ensure timely availability of materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, civil, or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory management techniques, safety regulations, and documentation procedures.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and machinery.
- Education: Generally requires a high school diploma or higher, with some roles requiring specific technical certifications.
- Experience Level: Typically 1-5 years, with some roles requiring 5+ years for senior positions.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
