Job Title: CNC Lathe Application Engineer & Programmer

Job Summary

We are seeking a CNC Lathe Application Engineer & Programmer responsible for developing machining solutions, supporting customers, and ensuring smooth commissioning of CNC lathe machines. The role involves hands-on programming, tooling selection, and customer-facing technical support.

Key Responsibilities

New Customer Sample Development
- Develop machining processes for new components.
- Optimize cycle time, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
- Prepare and validate CNC programs for production readiness.

Machine Commissioning & Training
- Support installation and commissioning of new CNC lathe machines.
- Train customer operators and engineers on machine operation, programming, and maintenance.
- Ensure smooth handover and initial production stabilization.

Application Support
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, video, or in office visits (as required).
- Troubleshoot machining issues related to programming, tooling, and process.




- Assist customers in improving productivity and machining efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of CNC Lathe operations and programming (G-code, cycles, tooling paths).
- Solid understanding of CNC tooling, insert selection, and cutting parameters.
- Basic knowledge of machine servicing and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good problem - solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills for customer interaction.

Preferred Profile
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Exposure to different CNC control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.) is an advantage.

Work Conditions
- Occasional travel for on-site support and machine commissioning.
