Job Title: Floor Doctor - Life Care Hospital

Location: part 2, scheme no. 78, vijay nagar, Indore

Salary:₹22,000 - ₹25,000/month

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and vigilant Floor Doctor to manage patient care across various wards. You will be responsible for the continuous monitoring of patients, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring that all medical protocols are strictly followed on your assigned floor.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision & Patient Care
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor the clinical status of all patients on the assigned floor.
- Monitor vitals and patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as per the primary Consultant’s instructions.
- Attend to medical emergencies, provide immediate stabilization, and alert the relevant specialists.
- Perform bedside procedures and dressing changes as required.

Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Nursing staff to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments.
- Brief Senior Consultants during their rounds regarding patient updates and diagnostic results.




- Act as a bridge between patients’ families and the medical team, explaining the patient’s condition and treatment plan clearly.

Documentation & Admin
- Maintain accurate and detailed daily progress notes (IPD records) for every patient.
- Oversee the preparation of discharge summaries and ensure all clinical documentation is complete.
- Ensure all diagnostic tests (Labs/Radiology) are followed up on and reports are added to patient files.

Requirements:
- Education: MBBS / BAMS / BHMS degree with a valid registration.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Clinical Skills: Proficient in emergency handling, IV cannulation, and basic life support.
- Communication: Empathetic communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Attributes: Sharp clinical observation and the ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.

Bonus
- Experience in ICU or Critical Care units.
