ROLE PURPOSE

The TGT English teacher is responsible for developing strong language proficiency, reading comprehension, grammar accuracy, and effective writing skills in students of Classes VI-X through NCERT-aligned, structured, and engaging instruction, ensuring consistent academic performance, exam readiness, and disciplined academic practices, while adhering to school systems and CBSE norms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Teaching & Learning (Core Responsibility)
- Teach English to Classes VI-X using concept-based, skill-oriented pedagogy:
- Ensure clarity in grammar concepts,



vocabulary usage, prose, poetry, and supplementary readers
- Develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing (LSRW) skills systematically
- Maintain appropriate pace of syllabus completion with planned revision cycles
- Engage students actively through reading, discussion, guided writing, and questioning

2. Student Academic Outcomes & Internal Results
- Achieve a minimum 90% pass percentage in English across allotted classes
- Ensure improvement in class average and consistency across sections
- Improve performance distribution by increasing ≥75% scorers and reducing
