Job Purpose:
To install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain CAD/CAM equipment including automatic cutting machines, spreaders, plotters, digitizers, and related software systems. The Field Service Engineer ensures optimal equipment performance, customer satisfaction, and timely resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation & Commissioning
- Perform installation, setup, and calibration of CAD/CAM systems (automatic cutters, spreaders, plotters, digitizers, and nesting software).
- Verify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software integration before handover.
- Conduct equipment trials and demonstrate functionality to customers.
- Ensure customer sign-off upon successful commissioning.

2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance as per company standards.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software-related faults.




- Maintain service records and preventive maintenance logs for each installation.
- Ensure minimum downtime and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair timelines.

3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide remote and in office technical support to resolve issues quickly.
- Escalate complex problems to senior engineers or factory support teams as needed.
- Update customers on corrective actions and preventive measures.

4. Customer Training
- Train customer operators and maintenance personnel on machine operation, basic troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
- Ensure users are confident and compliant with operational guidelines.

5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed service reports, installation records, and feedback forms.
- Report recurring issues or design feedback to the technical and product teams.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables
