Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Project Manager - Millwork Operations to lead and manage large-scale architectural millwork drafting projects for clients across the United States and Canada. This role demands exceptional leadership, deep technical expertise in millwork standards, and proven experience managing large teams within an outsourcing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 30-40 drafters along with Team Leaders to ensure high performance, accountability, and productivity.
- Oversee end-to-end execution of millwork drafting projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.
- Review and approve custom millwork shop drawings, ensuring precision, constructability, and compliance with client specifications.
- Ensure strict adherence to North American standards such as AWI (Architectural Woodwork Institute), AWMAC (Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada), AWS (Architectural Woodwork Standards), WDMA, and NKBA guidelines.
- Prepare and validate project estimations,



including material take-offs, costing, and timelines, to support client proposals and decision-making.
- Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources efficiently, and track progress against defined milestones.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality and accuracy in shop drawings, production drawings, and detailing outputs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring explicit communication, expectation management, and long-term relationship building.
- Conduct regular quality audits, team reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and handle escalations effectively.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and operational efficiency across teams.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
