1. Role Overview:
The AGM - Legal (Contracts & Regulatory Compliance) will lead and manage all legal matters related to contracts, regulatory compliance, statutory obligations, risk mitigation, and corporate governance. The role requires a seasoned legal skilled experienced in handling complex commercial contracts, managing litigation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and guiding senior management on legal risks and strategy.

2. Key Responsibilities:
A. Contract Management:
- Draft, review, vet, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including vendor agreements, procurement contracts, service agreements, MoUs, NDAs, LOIs, AMC agreements, etc.
- Ensure contracts are legally sound and aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and process improvements.




- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to finalize contracts in a timely manner.

B. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure organisation-wide compliance with applicable central, state, and local laws.
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting business operations and implement required measures.
- Maintain statutory records, licenses, and documentation for audits.
- Liaison with regulatory bodies and government authorities as required.

C. Litigation & Dispute Resolution:
- Manage litigation strategy with external counsel for civil, criminal, and arbitration matters.
- Prepare legal notices, replies, affidavits, and case briefing notes.
- Maintain litigation MIS and ensure timely closure of cases.

D. Risk Management & Advisory:
- Provide legal advisory support to senior management and business units on operational and strategic matters.
- Identify potential legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
