Core Responsibilities and Duties
- Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, assisting with product selection, and handling returns or complaints.
- Merchandising & Stock: Restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring products are properly priced and organized.
- Operational Tasks: Operating cash registers, processing card/cash payments, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.
- Inventory Control: Receiving deliveries, checking for damaged goods, and notifying management of low stock levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Communication: Strong verbal skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods,



lift, bend, and move stock.
- Technical Literacy: Familiarity with POS systems, scanners, and, in some cases, inventory software.

Common Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not always required).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but often not necessary for entry-level positions. Indeed +4
