Moody Mauve is a contemporary art brand creating emotionally rich, statement-making hand-painted artworks. Our work sits at the intersection of music, mood, and space, crafted for collectors, interior designers, and culturally aware buyers.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Hand-Painting Artist with a strong foundation in visual art and an intuitive understanding of aesthetics. You will work closely with the founder to bring concepts to life through hand-painted canvases.
This is not a mass-production role,it requires sensitivity to detail, patience, and the ability to translate ideas into expressive artwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating hand-painted artworks aligned with Moody Mauve’s visual language
- Execute sketches, base layers, and detailing as per project requirements
- Work with grids/graph methods for proportion and scaling
- Mix and experiment with colors to achieve specific moods and tones
- Handle multiple mediums including acrylic, oil,
and mixed media
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of art materials and workspace
- Collaborate closely with the founder during concept development and execution
- Support in meeting timelines without compromising on quality
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Robust fundamentals in sketching and composition:
- Understanding of perspective and proportions:
- Working knowledge of colour theory and blending techniques
- Experience with grid/graph usage for scaling artworks:
- Hands-on experience with acrylics, oils, and other painting mediums:
- Basic understanding of surface preparation (canvas, board, etc.)
- Attention to detail and consistency in execution
