Responsibilities:
- This position requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to work on multiple projects independently and as part of a project team.
- This is more than just a testing position; we are looking for a strong Quality Engineering background mixed with Software Development skills to follow test automation and quality practices.
- This person will be an integral part of the development team, leading quality test planning, defining and writing automated tests, while using agile testing methodologies.
- Develops, enhances & maintains testing plan scenarios & test scripts for complex unit, process, function, integration, regression and API testing using Java / Selenium / Cucumber.
- Designing Comprehensive Regression Test Suites.
- Develop utilities for test data setup / handling and use test data management & generation tools to ensure effective end to end test automation.




- Customizing the test automation framework (BDD) as necessary and contributing to the enhancement of the framework and solving problems related to object identity and error handling.
- Configure / Setup pipelines as part of the CI/CD process.

Required skills and qualifications:
- Proficient in using open-source test automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, Karate
- Proficient in using BDD frameworks like Cucumber, JBehave, SpecFlow and Serenity
- Proficient in Test Automation with Web Apps, APIs, Message Queues, DBs & proficient using tools like SoapUI / Postman for API.
- Proficient with CI Tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis CI, Gitlab.
- Proficient with Object Oriented Programming Languages, Data Structures and Design Patterns - Preferably Java
- Experience working with DevOps Tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Consul, Vault, Prometheus, Nomad
- Experience in scriptin
