Department: EHS (Workplace, Health & Safety)
Location: Mechtech Inframine Pvt. Ltd. (Workshop / Project Site)
Reporting To: Safety Manager / Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:1. Safety Implementation & Monitoring
- Assist in enforcing company safety policies and procedures on shop floor and project sites
- Monitor daily fabrication activities (cutting, welding, grinding, lifting operations)
- Ensure safe usage of heavy machinery such as cranes, presses, and material handling equipment
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report unsafe acts/conditions

2. Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain safety records, reports, and statutory compliance documents
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety laws and regulations (Factory Act, ISO standards, etc.)
- Assist in safety audits and inspections (internal & external)
- Prepare daily/weekly safety reports

3. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Assist in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Risk Assessment
- Ensure implementation of control measures for high-risk activities




- Monitor permit-to-work system (hot work, height work, confined space, lifting)

4. Training & Awareness
- Conduct safety induction for new employees and contractors
- Assist in organizing safety training, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
- Promote safety culture and awareness on the shop floor
- Ensure proper use of PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes, goggles, etc.)

5. Incident Management
- Report and investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions
- Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
- Maintain incident records and follow-up

6. Emergency Preparedness
- Support emergency response planning (fire, injury, equipment failure)
- Participate in mock drills and evacuation procedures
- Ensure availability of firefighting equipment and first-aid kits
