Role Overview
The Curator at IKIRU is responsible for shaping how products appear, feel, and come together on the website. This role begins after products are shared by vendors and focuses on selection, presentation, visual direction, collections, themes, and backend tagging to improve discovery and buying experience.
You will work closely with the listing, design, and marketing teams to ensure every product is presented clearly, beautifully, and in line with IKIRU’s brand language.
Key Responsibilities - Product Curation & Selection
- Review product lists received from vendors and curate what goes live on the platform
- Decide what fits IKIRU’s aesthetic, quality expectations, and customer needs
- Avoid clutter by consciously selecting and grouping products
- Ensure category balance and relevance
Website Presentation & Listings Coordination
- Coordinate with the listing team to ensure
- correct product data
- accurate dimensions and descriptions
- clean categorisation and filters
- Review live listings and flag gaps or inconsistencies
- Ensure products are easy to understand and easy to buy
Visual Direction & Graphics Input
- Suggest visuals, banners, creatives, and layout ideas for the website
- Work with design and marketing teams on

- Ensure visuals are cohesive and aligned with IKIRU’s design language
Collections & Themes
- Conceptualise and prepare collections for the website
- Build collections around use cases, moods, rooms, or design styles
- Work on themes such as Japandi, Scandinavian, Up-to-date Indian, Minimal, etc.
- Tag products correctly on the backend to support navigation and discovery
Customer Inspiration & Storytelling
- Think from a customer’s point of view while curating
- Help users imagine how products can be styled in real spaces
- Inspire customers with ideas on how to decorate and combine pieces
- Support content ideas that make décor feel approachable and intuitive
