Advocate - Legal (Litigation & Non-Litigation)

Experience: 10 Years (Real Estate / Land Matters Preferred)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Advocate to handle all legal matters related to litigation and non-litigation, particularly in real estate and land-related cases. The role involves representing the company in courts, managing disputes, drafting legal documents, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Litigation Matters
- Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and authorities.
- Handle civil, criminal, and property-related litigation matters.
- Coordinate with external counsels and follow up wherever needed.
- Maintain case records, hearing schedules, and status updates.
- Provide regular updates to management on case progress and risks.

B. Non-Litigation Matters
- Draft, vet, and review legal documents including:
- Agreements (Sale, Lease, Development, Joint Venture, etc.)
- MOUs, Notices, Deeds, and Contracts




- Conduct legal due diligence of land/property titles.
- Provide legal opinions on property transactions and company matters.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, RERA, municipal regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Assist in registration and documentation processes.

C. Advisory & Compliance
- Advise management on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Liaise with government authorities, legal consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Support internal departments (HR, Accounts, Sales) on legal queries

Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of land laws and property regulations:
- Experience in handling litigation and court procedures:
- Excellent drafting and documentation skills
- Ability to interpret land records (7/12 extract, property card, etc.)
- Good liaisoning and negotiation skills
- Robust follow-up and case management ability
