TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns as per statutory guidelines.
- Maintain and update records of TDS deductions for vendors, contractors, and employees.
- Reconcile TDS payments and deductions with Form 26AS and company’s financial records.
- Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).
- Respond to TDS-related notices and resolve discrepancies, if any.
- Assist in TDS audits and provide related reports.

GST (Goods and Services Tax) Responsibilities:
- Prepare, file, and maintain GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) within the deadlines.
- Reconcile GST payments and input credits with sales/purchase records.
- Keep updated with changes in GST laws and ensure proper implementation.
- Maintain proper records of GST invoices, input tax credits, and tax liabilities.
- Coordinate with tax authorities for GST audits, assessments, and compliance.
- Assist in preparing GST-related reports for internal audits and statutory compliance.

Billing Responsibilities:




- Prepare accurate and timely invoices for customers in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Ensure proper billing documentation and that all necessary approvals are in place before issuing invoices.
- Track outstanding invoices, follow up on pending payments, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Work closely with the accounts receivable team to ensure timely collections and cash flow management.
- Provide support in billing-related queries and discrepancies.

General Accounting Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate posting of financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports and statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review and reconcile accounts payable/receivable to ensure accuracy.
