Job Title: High School Chemistry Teacher (CBSE)

Reporting To: Principal / Academic Coordinator
Location: Narayana Etechno school, Salem (Reddiyur)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Chemistry lessons as per CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Teach topics such as Chemical Reactions, Acids & Bases, Metals & Non-metals, Carbon Compounds, Periodic Classification, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, and Organic/Inorganic Chemistry (as per grade level).
- Prepare lesson plans, lab manuals, assignments, worksheets, and question papers.
- Conduct practical sessions and ensure laboratory safety procedures.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and CBSE board examinations.
- Maintain lab records, stock registers, and safety compliance.
- Conduct remedial and enrichment classes when required.
- Encourage scientific inquiry, experiments, and project-based learning.
- Integrate digital tools and simulations into teaching.
- Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.




- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and school activities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) - Mandatory.
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry (preferred for Senior Secondary).
- CTET/TET qualification (as applicable).
- 2-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).
