Job Title: NOC Engineer
- Job Description:
- Monitor network infrastructure including routers, switches, servers, and firewalls using monitoring tools
- Ensure network availability, performance, and stability through proactive monitoring
- Track performance metrics such as latency, packet loss, and bandwidth utilization:
- Detect, analyze, and respond to network incidents and service disruptions:
- Perform L1 troubleshooting for connectivity, routing, DNS, and server issues
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or relevant teams:
- Manage alerts and events, resolve network alarms and service degradation:
- Create and track incidents using ITSM tools, ensuring SLA compliance
- Assist in network maintenance, patching, upgrades, and health checks
- Support change management and maintain configuration documentation




- Monitor for security threats and unusual network activity:
- Maintain network documentation, reports, and RCA for major incidents:
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers during incidents
- Required Skills:
- Robust knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching):
- Experience with network monitoring tools and ITSM systems:
- Good troubleshooting and incident management skills:
- Understanding of network security fundamentals:
- Strong analytical and communication skills
