Quality Control (QC) Technician inspects, tests, and validates products and raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Operating primarily in manufacturing or laboratory settings, they use specialized tools, record inspection data, and identify defects, helping to maintain product integrity throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Testing: Perform visual, physical, and functional tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods using calipers, gauges, or microscopes.
- Documentation & Reporting: Meticulously record inspection data, test results, and non-conformities; generate reports for management.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and cGMP (current Valuable Manufacturing Practices).
- Quality Improvement:
Identify root causes of defects and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Calibration: Maintain and calibrate measuring and testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or certificate in quality control, engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency with measuring tools and data entry software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment is often required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift materials and work in various conditions (e.g., cleanroom).

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
