Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and trend-aware Fabric Sourcing Executive to manage market sourcing, vendor coordination, and development of new woven fabric swatches. The role involves frequent visits to fabric markets, identifying new trends, and maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Visit local and regional fabric markets regularly to source new woven fabric swatches aligned with current trends and customer requirements
- Identify and develop recent vendors for woven fabrics
- Coordinate with existing suppliers for sampling, developments, and order follow-ups:
- Track and analyze fabric trends, colors, weaves, and finishes relevant to target markets
- Maintain and organize a fabric library / swatch bank:
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and MOQ with vendors
- Ensure timely sample submissions and approvals:
- Follow up on pending developments, production updates, and deliveries:




- Work closely with merchandising and design teams for new developments
- Maintain records of vendors, pricing, and fabric specifications

Key Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in fabric sourcing / merchandising (woven fabrics preferred):
- Strong knowledge of woven fabric constructions, yarns, and finishes:
- Ability to identify market trends and commercial fabrics:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel frequently for sourcing
- Basic knowledge of Excel / documentation

Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of export market requirements
- Experience in handling fabric developments for garments:
- Vendor management and relationship-building skills
- Eye for detail in fabric quality, texture, and finish

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
