Key Responsibilities
Scrum Facilitation
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Reviews
- Retrospectives
- Backlog Refinement
- Ensure effective backlog management in collaboration with Product Owners.
- Foster transparency, inspection, and adaptation.Stakeholder & Delivery Management
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, DevOps, and QA teams.
- Track and report team velocity, capacity, and delivery metrics.
- Provide visibility into risks, blockers, and progress to leadership.
- Support roadmap planning and execution.Risk & Impediment Management
- Identify systemic impediments and escalate when necessary.
- Drive root cause analysis and resolution.
- Ensure a healthy, self-organizing team culture.Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Implement Agile metrics such as:
- Velocity
- Burndown/Burnup
- Lead Time / Cycle Time
- Predictability
- Use data to improve team efficiency and delivery outcomes.Agile Leadership & Coaching (Positive to have)
- Serve as Scrum Master for multiple high-performing Agile teams.
- Coach teams,
Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum framework.
- Drive Agile transformation initiatives at program and enterprise levels.
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches.
- Promote continuous improvement and Agile best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as Scrum Master in Agile environments.
- Experience handling 2-4 concurrent Agile teams.
- Strong experience in enterprise Agile transformation.
- Expertise in:
- Scrum framework
- Kanban
- SAFe / Scaled Agile
- DevOps collaboration
- Experience with tools:
- Jira / Azure DevOps
- Confluence
- Collaboration tools
