Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Perform ARC welding (SMAW) on structural steel components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication details.
- Fabricate, assemble, and weld structural components such as beams, columns, frames, trusses, and brackets.
- Measure, cut, align, and fit metal sections using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, cutting torches, and drilling machines.
- Conduct visual inspection of welds and repair defects as required.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an ARC Welder in structural fabrication.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety standards.
- Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
- Certification in welding (preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in heavy structural steel fabrication.
- Knowledge of different welding positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
- Ability to use measuring tools accurately.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Work Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Overtime may be required.
