505 Coffee is redefining the coffee shop experience by offering a clean, natural, and high-quality menu at affordable prices. Opening in July 2024, our 80 sq. ft. café will be located in Fort, Mumbai, near Sterling Theatre. With a small operational footprint and a focus on efficiency, we source premium specialty coffees from Chikkamagaluru and fresh, locally-sourced food while paying our baristas above market wages. We believe in creating meaningful rituals through perfectly crafted beverages and exceptional customer experiences.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Barista at our South Mumbai location. As a Barista, your day-to-day tasks will include preparing a variety of specialty coffee beverages, assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the café, and ensuring every customer interaction is welcoming and positive.
You will play a crucial role in delivering the excellent experience that we strive to provide to our customers.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in barista skills, including beverage preparation and coffee brewing techniques
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members
Experience in providing exceptional customer service and managing customer interactions
Basic skills in food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in a work environment
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced workplace and maintain a positive attitude
Previous café or hospitality experience is a plus
Passion for coffee and enthusiasm for creating a memorable customer experience
