Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and understand project requirements and functional specifications.
- Write test cases
- Design and execute test cases based on given scenarios and requirements.
- Perform various types of testing — functional, regression, integration, and usability.
- Identify, document, and report bugs or issues clearly and accurately.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to reproduce and verify defects.
- Assist in test planning, test documentation, and maintaining test reports.
- Participate in daily stand-ups or review meetings to discuss testing progress.
- Support the QA team in maintaining testing environments and data.
- Learn and use bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestLink).
- Contribute ideas to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with basic SQL queries or API testing tools (Postman) is a plus.
- Knowledge in automation testing will be an added advantage
