Job Title: Retail Planner - Fashion

Job Summary

The Retail Planner is responsible for planning and forecasting product demand, managing inventory levels, and optimizing sales performance across stores or channels. This role works closely with buying, merchandising, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient stock flow and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Demand Planning & Forecasting:
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand.
- Develop seasonal and category-level sales plans.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Ensure optimal allocation and replenishment of products across stores.
- Sales & Performance Analysis:
- Track sales performance against targets (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Identify slow-moving and fast-selling products and take corrective actions.
- Merchandise Planning:
- Collaborate with buying and merchandising teams on product assortment.
- Support pricing, promotions, and markdown strategies.
- Allocation & Distribution:




- Allocate products to stores based on sales potential and regional demand.
- Adjust allocations dynamically based on performance.
- Reporting & Insights:
- Prepare regular reports on KPIs such as sell-through, stock turn, and margin.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve performance.

- Understanding of retail KPIs (sell-through, GMROI, stock turn)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Commercial awareness of fashion trends
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Management, Retail Management, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in retail planning, merchandising, or inventory management (fashion industry preferred)
