The Housekeeping Executive is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across all food & beverage operational areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. The role supports smooth F&B; operations by providing a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for guests, staff, and food handling processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Housekeeping Operations
- Ensure cleanliness of dining areas, kitchens, stores, wash areas, and service zones.
- Supervise daily housekeeping activities and cleaning schedules.
- Ensure proper cleaning of equipment, furniture, floors, walls, and utilities.
- Maintain pest-free and odor-free premises.

2. Hygiene & Food Safety Compliance
- Ensure adherence to hygiene standards as per Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) guidelines.
- Implement and monitor sanitation SOPs for food handling areas.
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal.
- Maintain cleanliness during food preparation, service, and storage.

3. Team Supervision & Training
- Supervise housekeeping staff, stewards,



and utility workers.
- Conduct training on hygiene practices, safety procedures, and SOPs.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage manpower allocation.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and attendance.

4. Inventory & Equipment Management
- Maintain stock of cleaning chemicals, tools, and consumables.
- Ensure safe usage and storage of cleaning materials.
- Coordinate timely procurement of housekeeping supplies.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition.

5. Safety & Maintenance Coordination
- Identify and report maintenance issues related to plumbing, electricals, and civil work.
- Ensure protected working conditions to prevent accidents and contamination.
- Coordinate with vendors for pest control and deep cleaning activities.

6. Audits & Documentation
- Conduct internal hygiene audits and inspections.
- Maintain housekeeping checklists, cleaning logs, and sanitation records.
