Job Description - Accounts Executive

Company Profile

A well-established Food Processing company based at Janori, Nashik, engaged in processing and manufacturing of food products for domestic and export markets.

Position Details
- Designation: Accounts Executive
- Department: Accounts & Finance
- Location: Janori - Nashik
- Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Head
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Accounts
- Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Accounting
- Handle daily accounting entries in Tally / ERP.
- Maintain books of accounts including cash, bank, sales, purchase, and journal entries.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements (BRS) regularly.
- Maintain petty cash and expense records.

Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor bills, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments.
- Follow up on receivables and maintain customer ledgers.
- Maintain proper creditor and debtor aging.

GST & Statutory Support
- Prepare data for GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and support timely filing.
- Maintain GST records for inward, outward,



and export transactions (if applicable).
- Assist in TDS workings, challans, and returns.

Factory & Cost Support
- Coordinate with Stores and Production for GRN, consumption, and stock entries.
- Assist in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and WIP tracking.
- Support costing and MIS reports.

Compliance & Audit Support
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
- Assist during internal, statutory, and GST audits.
- Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of invoices and vouchers.

Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / Diploma in Accounting
- Tally / ERP knowledge mandatory

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Accounts
- Experience in manufacturing / food processing industry preferred
- Stable job history (longer tenures with previous employers)
