Job Title: Audit / Direct Taxation / Indirect Taxation Executive
Location: Borivali, Mumbai
Experience: 1-3 Years

We are looking for a motivated Audit / Direct & Indirect Taxation Executive to join our professional practice. The role involves handling accounting functions, statutory compliances, audits, and tax filings while ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery for clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Finalisation of books of accounts, ledger scrutiny, and preparation of MIS reports
- Bank reconciliations and resolution of accounting discrepancies
- Handling statutory compliances including GST, TDS, and other indirect tax filings
- Reconciliation of books with GST returns, TDS returns, and statutory records
- Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and companies
- Assisting in statutory audits and tax audits, including audit documentation
- Preparation and maintenance of scrutiny and assessment documentation
- Handling and responding to notices from Income Tax and other authorities




- Coordinating with clients to obtain financial data for audits and compliances
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
- Effective use of Tally, MS Excel, and MS Word for accounting and reporting

Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, and Direct & Indirect taxation
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred)
- Understanding of tax assessments, scrutiny, and compliance procedures
- Positive analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications & Experience
- B.Com / M.Com with 2-3 years of relevant experience, or
- CA Inter / IPCC with 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Prior exposure to accounts finalisation, audits, GST, income tax compliance, and handling tax notices will be an advantage
