Dock Supervisor - Consumer Goods Warehouse:
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing day-to-day dock operations in a high-volume consumer goods warehouse, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate inbound and outbound movement of materials while maintaining productivity and compliance with SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise loading and unloading operations at warehouse docks
- Ensure accurate receipt and dispatch of materials as per documentation
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and internal warehouse teams
- Monitor vehicle turnaround time (TAT) and reduce dock congestion
- Allocate manpower and manage shift-wise dock activities
- Ensure proper use of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet trucks)
- Maintain daily inward and outward records
- Update transactions in WMS / SAP / Excel-based systems
- Enforce safety procedures, PPE usage, and warehouse SOPs
- Handle discrepancies, damages, and escalation issues
- Support audits,



inspections, and inventory checks

- Robust understanding of warehouse & dock operations
- Knowledge of FIFO / FEFO practices
- Basic proficiency in SAP / WMS / MS Excel

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma (any discipline; logistics preferred)
- 2-8 years experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Experience in consumer goods / FMCG warehouses preferred
