Assembly In-Charge - Plastic Injection Moulding Industry

Location: Daman. Company Accommodation Available

We are a 25-year-old, well-established Plastic Injection Moulding Unit manufacturing LED Light Housings with 25 fully robotic machines and in-house Tool Room.

We are looking for a competent and experienced Assembly In-Charge to lead and streamline our Assembly Department with discipline, productivity focus and quality control mind-set.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise complete Assembly operations (Lighting fixtures - holders, connectors, sub-assemblies)
- Improve productivity and reduce cycle time
- Reduce rejection / rework in assembly
- Control manpower discipline & attendance
- Implement SOPs and line balancing
- Coordinate with Production, QC & Dispatch
- Daily production reporting & rejection analysis
- Ensure 5S and shop-floor discipline
- Train and motivate operators

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Assembly rejection below 1.5%




- Productivity improvement by 10-15%
- Zero dispatch delays due to assembly
- Reduced manpower cost per piece

Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience as Assembly Supervisor / In-Charge in Plastic Injection Industry
- Experience in Lighting / Electrical plastic parts preferred
- Strong control over manpower handling (15-40 workers)
- Knowledge of basic quality tools (Poka-Yoke, Root Cause, 5 Why, Kaizen)
- ITI / Diploma preferred

Salary:
₹25,000 - ₹45,000 per month
(Depending on experience & capability)
