Coding & Abstracting:Analyze patient records to identify and assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and treatments.
- Documentation Review: Audit patient charts for accuracy, completeness, and missing information, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines.
- Billing Support: Convert medical notes into codes used for insurance claims to facilitate accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Querying Providers: Interact with physicians to clarify ambiguous, incomplete, or contradictory documentation.
- Compliance: Follow government and insurance regulations, including HIPAA, to ensure data security and confidentiality
