Job Summary

Sukoon Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver structured, patient-centric occupational therapy interventions across OPD, IPD, and Rehabilitation services. The role focuses on improving patients’ functional abilities, emotional regulation, coping skills, and life skills through individualized, evidence-based therapy plans, supporting holistic recovery and reintegration into daily life.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychosocial functioning
- Identify patient needs, goals, strengths, and barriers to recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather inputs for treatment planning

Treatment Planning & Implementation
- Develop individualized occupational therapy plans aligned with clinical goals
- Design and deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions
- Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance functional independence

Therapeutic Interventions
- Conduct activities to improve physical strength, coordination,



and cognitive functioning
- Support emotional regulation, stress management, and adaptive coping skills
- Deliver life-skills training to support community reintegration

Progress Monitoring & Documentation
- Regularly review patient progress and modify treatment plans as required
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation as per hospital protocols

Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and allied therapists
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions

Family & Caregiver Education
- Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic goals and home-based support strategies
- Provide guidance to promote continuity of care outside the clinical setting

Compliance & Ethical Practice
- Adhere to skilled, ethical, and regulatory standards of occupational therapy practice
- Stay updated with current research and best practic
